Seeking information on Elizabeth Jane (Conner) Nicewander. Elizabeth or "Lizzy" as she was known died in Lafayette on April 18, 1945. She moved to the Crawfordsville area about 1874 and lived there until 1904 when she moved to Lafayette. She was born in Rockbridge Co., Va. in 1853 and was first married to a Mr. Hicks. (Full name not known). On the 1910 census she is listed as a widow. Her son William Hicks was living with her. Lizzy was second married to Jacob Nicewander in Lafayette on December 31, 1923.
