Thanks for posting this query! This is an example of why I enjoy doing lookups for people. I have birth and marriage records by county for Indiana on genealogy.com. Not all counties are on the indexes at Ancestry, and I had started looking up the birth record and marriage record for you and had found some possible 1880 census records for both George and Maggie. Then I decided to take a look on the Tippecanoe USGENWEB site since I couldn't find them in 1900 and because I thought that the name Pennington sounded familiar. (I haven't found yet where I believe I saw Pennington's in Biographies or County Histories yet), and found the image of the marriage record you wanted and was so excited that I could point you right to it. Then I decided I'd better be sure it wasn't you who posted it, and lo and behold, it was! I then scrapped the email knowing that even though you didn't include exact dates, that you did have them and likely had done the same research I just did. I noticed some Moore marriages above yours and decided to take another look at my John A. Carr and Julia A. M. Moore from Tippecanoe Co. WOW! I may have actually found both of them and their parents. I'm not real sure yet, but I am hopeful. Julia married both John A. Carr, my great grandfather's parents and Patrick Henry Carr. Since Patrick's father also had a son John who was nearer to the older Julia's age, I had a theory that he may have been Patrick's brother. I also haven't found out what happened to John yet, whether Julia and he divorced or he died. I did, however find a new possible John A. Carr who is 13 years older than Julia, but living in the same general area as the possible Julia Carr who may be mine on the 1850 census. He has different parents than Patrick Henry, but he is living in the same township as Patrick Henry Carr was living in 1874. Which also would seem to look as though they were brothers, but in fact, these two are not. I may have also found the deaths of Patrick and Julia in the index of the Lafayette paper. I really hadn't planned on doing any Carr/Moore research today, so your query put me in the right place at the right time! Now I have more questions than answers though, but much more information to verify.
