Floyd, I would be very interested in what you have concerning the descendents of Porter and Minnie. I see that I only have estimates for her birth and death dates, so hopefully you can help to fill some stuff in. I got quite a bit of information from another one of Porter's descendents last year, but would like to see what you have that I don't already have. One of my best friends in high school was a descendent of Porter's. We knew we were related then, but it wasn't until recently that I found we were fourth cousins. If you were to walk straight east of Porter's home, you would come out very close to where I grew up. I used to pass his home often driving from my folks' home to my brother's home (that way avoided a lot of gravel).
