W. THOMPSON, Greenfield, IN, p. 432: John LINN. Brother John LINN died at the soldier’s home in Lafayette some time in May. He was afflicted so he could not work, and as he had been in the army he went there to rest. But his stay there was short – perhaps one month – when the Lord called him to a better home, where there is no sickness, sorrow, pain, or death. Brother LINN had been a worthy member of our church in Crawfordsville, Ind., about five years. He came from the Methodists, saying “I believe this is the church of Jesus Christ.” He seemed very candid and sincere. He subscribed for the “Monitor” and “Gospel Messenger” and read them and his Bible faithfully. We will miss him in our asssemblies, but he is – “Where congregations never break up, And Sabbath’s never end.” [Submitted by] Lina W.
