Waite and Frances Jones. Lafayette Morning Journal, pg. 3, col. 3 September 21, 1898 Lafayette, Indiana DEATH OF MRS. WILLIAM WELCH Mrs. William Welch died last evening at 6 o'clock at the family residence, No. 1009 Wabash Avenue. She had been an invalid for months and her death was caused by Bright's disease. She was 46 years old and was born and reared in this city. A husband and three children, three sisters and a brother, survive. The deceased was a devoted wife and mother and was highly esteemed as a friend. The funeral will be conducted from the family residence this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Dr. C.B. Wilcox will officiate and the interment will be made in Greenbush cemetery.
