I'm looking for information on the following families: Malinda Jane TRIMMER was born in Jan 1838 in Tippecanoe Co., IN, died on 17 Aug 1914 in Tippecanoe Co., IN, at age 76, and was buried in Montmorenci Cemetery, Tippecanoe Co., IN. Malinda married Isaac COFFMAN on 22 Dec 1853 in Tippecanoe Co., IN. Known children known were: George W., born 1856, married Josephine Catton; Lewis E., born 1858 died bef. 1870?; Lydia, born abt. 1861, married John Fay; Job ( is this also the same as Joseph H.?), born abt. 1864, married Viola Siegmund; Alonzo, born abt. 1867, married Myrtle Lake; Carrie, born abt. 1873, married William Thomas; Arthur, born Oct. 1880, married Mary Templeton. Marietta TRIMMER was born in Jan 1841 in Tippecanoe Co., IN and died after 1910, possibly in Benton Co., IN. Marietta married William H. COFFMAN on 22 Dec 1853 in Tippecanoe Co., IN. William was born about 1836 in Indiana. (Source of birth date is the 1900 census; they are also in the 1910 census in Benton Co., IN, but are not found in 1920.) Known children of Marietta and William Coffman were: Mahala J., born abt. 1855, married George W. Cuppy; William A., born abt. 1857, married Mary E. Hill; Carmi, born abt. 1858, died bef. 1870?; Caleb, born abt. 1860; Samuel, born abt. 1865; Harriet, born abt. 1867; Mary, born 1870. I'm really stuck on this one; Talitha was a daughter of my ancestor Carmi Jones. The Trimmer girls were half-sisters of Talitha's, and stepdaughters of Carmi Jones. Their parents were Mahala Dougherty and Reuben Trimmer. Talitha Quini JONES was born about 1851 and died on an unknown date. Note: The Tippecanoe Co., Indiana WPA Death Record index shows an unnamed female Coffman, aged 35, died on 25 Oct 1884 in Shelby Twp., Tippecanoe Co., IN.,.Could this possibly be Talitha? Talitha married James W. COFFMAN on 19 Jan 1871 in Tippecanoe Co., IN. Their known children were: Desia D. COFFMAN was born in Jul 1871 in Tippecanoe Co., IN, died on 3 Sep 1871 in Tippecanoe Co., IN, and was buried in Burton Cemetery, Tippecanoe Co., IN Harry J. COFFMAN was born in 1876 and died on an unknown date. Otis W. COFFMAN was born in Jan 1877 in Tippecanoe Co., IN, died on 9 Oct 1880 in Tippecanoe Co., IN, at age 3, and was buried in Burton Cemetery, Tippecanoe Co., IN.
