He owned property in Shelby, Twp., Tippecanoe Co., IN. That land was sold on 3 March 1895 by Joseph E. Randles, his sole heir, so perhaps death was in 1894? I did not find anything in the WPA death index. By any chance, would there have been an obituary? Can anyone suggest other places to look? Thank you.
