They married in Tippecanoe County August 14, 1865. I believe William Pointer died in LaFayette between 1886 and 1891. In 1886 they lived at 116 N. 4th in LaFayette. Their children included Jennie, Sallie, and Dollie. I am looking for more information about Jennie Pointer, who I believe married Charles Mapes and moved to Muncie, Indiana.
