I've been researching the descendants of John STEVENS, who came from Ireland to Lafayette, IN, in 1851. His son William's daughter Harriette married Delmar Raymond BELLINGER Oct. 25, 1922 in Tippecanoe County. While this couple was still in Lafayette area for the 1930 census, they have lived in many different parts of the US. Finally came upon Delmar's obit in an AZ paper, and want to share it, in case anyone else is working on this line--and to archive for future reference, since I can't find any mention of his passing in Lafayette area papers. Published in the Sun City-Youngstown News-Sun (near Phoenix, AZ), Wednesday, October 14, 1970: Delmar Bellinger, 71, who had owned a gift shop before he moved here in 1968 from San Jose, Calif., died last Wednesday in his home at 11050 Cheryl Dr. [this would be in Sun City] Mr. Bellinger was born in West Lafayette, Ind., and was graduated from Tri State College at Angola, Indiana. He also attended Wisconsin and Purdue universities. He was a member of a Masonic lodge and Lions Club. Survivors include his wife, Harriette. Services and burial were private, said Lundberg's Sunland Chapel. Still looking for Harriette's obit... Jacqi
