Hello, I am looking for the Copic (Coppock, Coppick, etc.) that may have moved to Tippecanoe County after 1850. The parents would have died by 1860. I have found orphans in both White and Carroll County, and am trying to find their parents. Thank you, Maggie
Maggie, My grandmother was born a Coppick! She was one of ten children that were also in an orphanage here in tippecanoe county. Your kidding! One of the orphans, Nathan, is the great-grandfather of an aquaintance of mine. He asked me to see what I could do! It would be great for us to swap the information that we have found. I will type it up tomorrow, and probably attach it in an email. If not, it will be in the body - attachments don't always seem to work! Hope to hear from you soon!
