Rebecca Oglesbay was the daughter of Job Connaroe. She is part of my family, 3rd cousin 4 times removed. She had a sister Eliza (Elizabeth) who could be the mother of John. An Elizabeth Beck is shown in the 1850 census for Lauramie with her children and no husband. in 1840 a John Beck is shown who would be right age with 1 son under 5, 2 sons 10-15, 1 female under 5 and 1 female 30-40. I have no information on Eliza in my file other than a birthdate of about 1805. I do know there are no Becks in the Connaroe cemetery, however there are others that are connected. Unfortunately some of the cemeteries in that area have been destroyed.
