I can't find her birth certificate or any info about her parents. She appears in the 1870 Federal Census in Chicago, IL as a domestic servant for someone. She married my gg grandfather in November, 1872. According to her death certificate her father's name was Henry Kluth and her mother's name was Mary ?. There were/are alot of Kluth's in Lafayette over the years so I know there must be a relation there somewhere. Can anyone tell me the best place to look for birth information for 1855?
