They had a child in Putnam Co IL in SEP 1844. A search of the online database, Indiana Marriages to 1850, showed: John Showalter to Jane M. Crawford, Tippecanoe Co., 2 Aug 1843. Anyone have a Showalter or Crawford that could fit this description? cheers
