    1. [INTIPPEC] Fw: Interesting article & program tonight
    2. L.A. CLUGH
    3. Good morning, I'm passing on an interesting article on cemetery issues of today. Isn't it interesting how we all become involved in gathering facts on our family history? "Five hundred years isn't all that long ago," she said. "It doesn't separate me from my family." http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/news/front/5553576.htm ~~~ Also, If anyone is local and would like to join us tonight at our Genealogy Society Meeting, the program is on: "The History of Funerals and Records form a Genealogical point of view" Mr. John Benefiel speaking from Solar Baker Funeral Home. 7 PM at the TCHA library located at: 1001 South 10th Street, Lafayette, IN. Love to have you, L.A. Clugh Working on Tippecanoe Co. pioneer cemeteries. http://www.rootsweb.com/~intcpcrg/Index.html

    2. Randy Ritchie
    3. There is a Stafford family in Tippecanoe County that owns a farm in South Raub (County Road 800 South (also called the Attica Blacktop) at the RR tracks). They have had that farm my whole life, so I've always assumed it is a family farm. They had twins that graduated in my high school class. You might be able to find some contact information on switchboard.com or something. I will also ask my mother what she knows about that family. My paternal grandparents lived across the road for that last several years of their lives. --- Randy Ritchie Shawnee Mission, KS Researching the Brand, Edwards, Gray, Ray, Ritchie, Royer and Troncoso families On 6 Apr 2003 01:39:51 -0700 mjmdavis1934 wrote: >This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > >Classification: Query > >Message Board URL: > >http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Hi.2ADI/1595.1.1 > >Message Board Post: > >Sorrie I can't help you on your Stafford research. 3. As you probably know, the two primary Indian leaders of The Battle of Tippecanoe were Tecumseh and his brother, The Prophet. I'm not sure of any other chiefs. Have you tried contacting the museum in Battle Ground, IN?
