Does anyone know who takes care of the Vevay Cemetery and if they have a listing of the burials. I did find some information on the Switzerland County GenWeb site and FindaGrave; however, not the ones I'm looking for. Also, does anyone know if the library has obituaries on microfilm? The Vevay Cemetery is taken care of by the town. I don't know about access to any of the records through the town. However, You may call the Switz. Cty. Public Library (Thursday is probably best), or the Switz. Cty. Historical Society (daily & weekends 12 to 4) and ask them to check for you in the Wanda Morford Cemetery Inscriptions. This is a list from over 20 years ago. Library 812-427-3363 Society 812-427-3560 The health department may be able to answer recent burial questions from death records.812-427-3270 Obituaries are only in process and not complete in the museum records. I am not familiar with where they are in the library now. Ellyn There is a listing in that book and it isn't very long so if you have the names you want, they can probably answer over the phone. ----- Original Message ----- From: <KPhill2906@aol.com> To: <inswitze-l@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, December 02, 2007 3:48 PM Subject: [INSWITZE] Vevay Cemetery > Does anyone know who takes care of the Vevay Cemetery and if they have a > listing of the burials. > > I did find some information on the Switzerland County GenWeb site and > FindaGrave; however, not the ones I'm looking for. > > Also, does anyone know if the library has obituaries on microfilm? > > Thanks, > Karen > > > > **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's > hottest > products. > (http://money.aol.com/special/hot-products-2007?NCID=aoltop00030000000001) > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > INSWITZE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > >
