Mrs. Carl Town, 50 years old, died suddenly last Monday night at her home in Chadron, Neb. She is survived by her husband; one son, Elton Hughes, of this city; and two brothers, Ivo Slough, of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Ford Slough, of Silver City, N. M. She was born in St. Joseph county Dec. 9, 1869. The body will arrive in the city Friday noon. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mrs. Town was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
