Submitted by Georgia Gill-Elkins South Bend Tribune 7/19/1947 Foster, Swaney, Wallace Mrs. Sarah A. Foster Mrs. Sarah A. Foster, aged 80, of 844 South 25th Street, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday in the Williams Nursing Home after an illness of six months. She was born in Butler County, Missouri, Oct 31, 1866, and came here on year ago from Cates, Ind. Her husband, John Foster, died in 1946. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Alice Swaney and Mrs. Ruby Foster, both of South Bend and Mrs. Rose Wallace, Cates. The body was sent from the Hollis chapel today to the Bodine & Shelby funeral home, Covington, Ind., for funeral services there at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Williamsport, Ind.
