Masten, living five miles north east of the city, near Stony Ridge, died this morning after an illness of three weeks with pneumonia, aged 44 years. Besides his wife he leaves five children, Claud, Maud, Richard, Zonie and Doretha. Mr. Masten was a member of the South Bend tent of Maccabees and the members of that organization will act as pall bearers at the funeral. The funeral arragements have not as yet been completed.
