Bates, daughter of Mr. Martin Bates, also of Terre Coupee, were married at 10 a. m., Wednesday. The wedding was a quiet family affair and the ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's brother, the Rev. Lynn Bates, 1404 Michigan avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson left soon after for a short wedding journey, going first to Chicago.
