Jefferson St. North Liberty, died at 5 p.m. Saturday at South Bend Osteopathic Hospital after a short illness. She was born April 24, 1896, in Greene Twp, and lived in the North Liberty area all her life. Her husband, Cleo E. Full, died on March 5, 1964. She is survived by three daughters, all of North Liberty; Mrs. Stanley Pommert, Mrs. Fern Mulvaney and Mrs. Audrey Crothers; four sons Sherland and Harold, both of North Liberty, Lawrence of Walkerton and Clyde of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Lulu Roush of North Liberty; and 16 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren. Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the A.M. Manuel Funeral Home, North Liberty Church of the Brethren. Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund. *************************************************************** Submitted by Georgia Gill-Elkins South Bend Tribune September 14, 1965 Mrs. Emma Gouker Mrs. Emma Gouker, 80, of 508 Georgia St. Walkerton, died 6 p.m. Monday in Elkhart General Hospital. Mrs. Gouker was born July 17, 1885, in St. Joseph County, Mich.. She married the late John Gouker May 31, 1906, in Goshen. Survivors are: two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Mathers of Middlebury and Mrs. Irene Lidy of Walkerton; three sons, Marvin Gouker of Ft. Wayne, Marvin Gouker of North Liberty and Robert Gouker of Anderson; a sister Mrs. Elmer Harper of South Bend; a brother, Elroy Kime of North Liberty; 19 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren. A Past Noble Grand of the Rebecca Lodge and past president of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Mrs. Gouker was a member of the Methodist church where she taught Sunday School for six years until her death. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today and until 11 a.m. Thursday at the Nusbaum Funeral Home, Walkerton, and from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Walkerton Methodist Church where services will be conducted. Rev. Harold Williams, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Gracelawn Cemetery, Middlebury. ************************************************************* Submitted by Georgia Gill-Elkins South Bend Tribune September 14, 1965 Mrs. Alex Buziak Mrs. Blanche Buziak, 70, of 613 S. Meade St., died at 7:20 p.m. Monday in the Illinois Central Hospital, Chicago, after a month's illness. Born on March 4, 1895, in South Bend, she was married on June 23, 1919, in St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, to Alex Buziak of South Bend and Dr. Chester Buziak of Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Dyszkiewicz and Mrs. Rita Tarr, both of South Bend; four grandchildren; two brothers, John and Lewis Klosowski, and four sisters, Mrs. Sadie Moskwinski, Mrs. Victoria Jeziorski, Mrs. Virginia Kindt and Mrs. Clara Niedbalski, all of South Bend. Mrs. Buziak was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Adalbert's Church and Group 65 Polish Women's Alliance of America. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30. Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Adalbert's Church and interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. John Moskal, pastor, will officiate. ********************************************************* Submitted by Georgia Gill-Elkins South Bend Tribune September 14, 1965 Casper Herma Casper Herma, 82, of 610 S. Brookfield St. died at 5:30 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. He was a retired tailor at the University of Notre Dame. He came to south Bend 55 years ago from Poland, where he was born on Dec. 16, 1882. In 1908 he married Antoinette Janczak, who died on Aug. 13, 1962. He is survived by three sons, Joseph and Theodore, both of South Bend, and Aloysius of Vancouver, Wash.; a daughter Mrs. Helen Kaminski, of South Bend; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Herma was a member of Group 125, Haller's Post, Wieprzowian club and the West Side Democratic & Civic Club. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, Rev. John Moskal, pastor, officiating. Burial well be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
