Judge John Vanfleet, or counsel for the defense, immediately gave notice of the filing of a motion for a new trial. The case is likely to go to the supreme court. As the jury could not get together before noon the norning session of the St. Joseph circuit court was brief Monday. It took just 20 minutes to bring the docket up to the jury, and court then adjourned until 1:15 p. m.
