His obit was in the South Bend Tribune May 27, 1971. His address was 3511 E. Corby Blvd. South Bend, IN. There was also a note that there is a will available on him in St. Joseph Co. It was listed as Peter Bender, 333,3. So this may be the reference where the will is located. Contact local.history@sjpl.org and see how you can get copies. Good luck.
