I just happened to think. Doc Patten was still alive then, although I don't know if he was still practicing. He died in 1959, so he may have retired, but I'm not sure. I can remember when he still had an office, and that would be in the 50s. I emailed a cousin who might have more answers. It's possible there are still some records around the town somewhere. Jill
