    3. Query from Judith Sandage Murphy jmurphy@erinet.com One of the newsletters I get had a request from a Shelby Co cookbook - if anyone can help this person please email the address (at end of request) and if you would, please send me a copy of recipe too - thanks (jmurphy@erinet.com): When I was a child growing up in the 1970's. My Mother had a recipe for Mock Mushrooms. Some of the ingredients were mushroom pieces, mushroom soup <I think> and ritz crackers. From the best I can remember...they were made into patties and fried...or they could have been dropped by spoonful into the frying pan. But the taste rivaled fresh batter fried morel mushrooms <sp?> I would dearly love to have the recipe again and surprise my Mom who has hunted for the recipe for years. I believe it might have been lost in our move from the farm. The original recipe was in a Shelby County Fair Prize Winning Recipe booklet. <Shelby County, Indiana> Thanks for any help. Sincerely Catherine -- If you can help this reader with this recipe, please forward it to recipes@tias.com .
