I am also interested in knowing whether there are records for the Nat'l Military Home. An ancestor died there in 1908 and even though I have his obituary, CW record and death certf. none of these items lists the names' of his parents. This was a home for veterans and from reading his CW documents, this ancestor was able to be fully evaluated concerning his physical condition -- seems he had all the ailments he claimed he had in order to try for an increase in pension, prior to entering the home.
