Sylvanus E. Swinford was my first cousin, three times removed. (He was the first cousin of my g-grandfather, Mathew Swinford (1875-1916)). Unfortunately I have no information on his wife other than her name, and I had her last name noted as McKinney. They lived in the Flat Rock area, I believe, and are both buried at Lewis Creek. Alice was a sister to my maternal Grandmother, Mary McKenney Faulconer--both from Ky. I am very interested in their Mother, Louisa McKenney who married a McKenney. Louisa was a twin to Pollard McKenney who served in the Civil War from S helby County and according to the newspaper attended his funeral in Shelbyville in 1917.
