Hi Anne, Yes, I know you are from Piercy too. You sent me that wonderful picture of the Thomas's. I wish I had one of Lucinda like that. I bet if there was one it was passed down by one of her daughters. Are there any of their decendants out there? They are Caroline Young Sherrill; Elizabeth Young Cory; Sarah Young Lewark. As far as we know they all lived and died within a county or two of Shelby Co. I have no idea where Piercy is buried. But he did have land near that Hanover Cem, so it is a good place, as any, to look. He was well off, relatively, so I would expect him to have a stone. His ancestors were Episcopal, or Church of England, I think, back in NJ. They are all buried in church yards. I have some pictures of one of our couple's stones there, if you would like them? The county took them up and refurbished them pretty recently. My cousin took the pictures. I have more that you would probably like very much, unless I have already shared them with you? I tried the USGS mapping site yesterday and it did not show any cemeteries in the Hanover region. I wonder how many there may be, including family plots? Lucinda Kitchell Young lived at Freeport at one time. Where is Liberty located? As to the Kitchell's English background that is all on line and I believe it to be fairly accurate. There is plenty out there and the lastest correct old mistakes. Carleen
