Father, John Henry Deiwert, mother,Keziah Winterrowd. Military- Union Infantry, 154th Regiment, Indiana Infantry. History of 154th Regiment Infantry ( 1 year service ). Organized at Indianapolis, Indiana, April 20, 1865. Left State for Parkersburg, West Virginia, April 30; thence moved to Stevenson's Station, Shenandoah Valley, Virginia, May 2-4. Duty at Stevenson's Station until June 27, and Opequan Creek until August 4. Mustered out August 4, 1865. Lost during service 1 Enlisted killed and 40 Enlisted men by disease. Ohio Death Certificate Index- DEIWERT ANDERSON- County, Clermont. Date 5/16/1916. Volume 1938, Certificate number 29703.
