In the 1870 census for Indiana, Johnson county, Franklin township, page 44, there was a family headed by George Toothman, 45, farmer, and included Rhoda, 45, keeping house, - Sarah, 23, without occupation, - Minervia, 19, at home, - John W, 17, at home, - Mary, 15, - James, 12, - Rachel, 9, and Heneretta, 4. All born in Ind except James who was born in Missouri. Unfortunately no family relationships were shown in any census until 1880. Hope this helps. Don
