I have made notation of relation to my family history at the top. You can use the license for whatever purpose that you want. George Washington Ferris and his wife Anna Jane Copple are the parents of Dr. Justus Clemet Ferris M.D. that married my relative Josephine Amelia Metz, daughter of John and Odelia Meyer Metz , granddaughter of Valentine and Ottilda Fuerst Meyer. George and Anna Copple Ferris owned a farm in Van Buren Township Shelby County. He was born July 1841 in Illinois and she was born August 1842 in Shelby County, Indiana. I do not know where they are buried but I believe they are buried in Shelby County. If you happen to locate them I would appreciate knowing the cemetery. Also if you happen to known anything about the minister that married them. Strange initials in front of his surname with M.P. C. after it probably referring to local church?
