I am descended from Jeremiah Bennett who arrived in Shelby Co. in 1832, coming from Fairfield, NJ, along with his extended family. Do you by any chance have any information from the book other than what you have already posted? Any mention of Zacheus, Jeremiah, Aaron, Enos, Judith or Ruth Bennett? I am also looking for Roszell, Bone, Wherrett, Clark, Gordon. Brown, Gleb (or Glob) or Blythe kin. Jeremiah Bennett was a butcher, jailer and owner of Bennett House, a tavern and hotel. He laid out some of the streets of Shelbyville, donated land for the courthouse and helped bring the first railroad to the area. If you have anything on these families, I would be very grateful to hear from you. Also, to anyone out there looking for these names, contact me as I have a lot of information & am glad to share.
