Thank you for posting this! Maude (ECK) DANIELS was a daughter of Rebecca (GERMAN) (ECK) HENSLEY. The death of Maude ECK at the hands of her husband has long been a part of GERMAN family lore, but nobody remembered her married name DANIELS. There is supposed to be an article in the Shelbyville newspaper, presumably from about 18 Jan 1927, telling about family members rushing to her bedside in Detroit. I would deeply appreciate a lookup please of this article now that a date and name have been found. Thank you.
