    2. Could Genfirmation possibly be consumption? Sometimes in writing "f" and "s" can look alike. There was a lot of consumption in Indiana. I am very curious. When you wrote back to State Health Dept. in Indpls, did you have to pay another fee? I sometimes feel like I support that dept. with the death certificates they say they cannot find - especially when I have good information about the date and place of death. Once I even had the Vol. & page no. of the death in the county index and they could not find it. I got that one directly from Bartholomew Co. My best cause of death on a death certificate was "decrepitude". This one was from Shelby Co. dated 1902. At least I did get that one. Kathy Ridlen
