    1. FUCHS
    2. Virginia Flesher
    3. George, are your FUCHS families connected to these in Gibson Co TN? I know their lineage goes back to Germany. They settled, I believe in the area that is now Germantown Road, as well as the RAUCHLES.

    1. Re: [INSHELBY] Into the West
    2. Since you're on AOL Carleen, you can get the schedule by clicking on Television. You may have to input a little info about your location and whether you have cable, etc., but then you'll have the correct info. It's on again tonight and Sunday. A little of the info about next weekend is already on there. I watched the first hour last night, but the phone started ringing and I missed the second hour. Fortunately I can catch it again. Jill

    1. Re: [INSHELBY] Into the West
    2. Thank you, I did watch last night, and it was good. They said it would be historically correct and not like some Hollywood "histories," which do our children a great disservice. Maybe my husband will not mind watching this with me. ha! I always point out wrong historical "facts" to him and he hates that! But you do learn some real history doing genealogy, reading diaries, journals, etc. Can't beat primary records, can you? I wanted that schedule too, and it was not in my paper. Carleen

    1. Isaac Johnson & Mary B. Stewart
    2. In the Shelby Co., Marriage Affadavits 1876-1879 is an affiant of William L. Harrell to the marriage of Isaac Johnson and Mary B. Stewart. I believe this is William L. Harrell son of Henderson H & Margra (Williams) Harrell. Henderson H. Harrell died in April of 1879, so it would be logical for him to sign for a marriage of a sister or a relative. If I have this correct, one of his sisters, Mary Edie or Mary J. Harrell may have married John L. Rhoades on 20 Mar. 1867. John L.Rhoades/Rhoads is also shown as marrying Mary Eliza Phares on 18 Nov 1852 and marrying a Minerva Stewart on Aug. 7, 1870. Would appreciate help in figuring who these wives were. Was Mary B. Stewart w/o Isaac Johnson the same as Mary Edie d/o Henderson & Margra Harrell? Was there more than one John L., and was John L Rhoades who married Mary B. Stewart the son of Jesse & Leana (unknown) Rhoades? Thanks so much for your help. It's always appreciated. - Mary
