Walter Persinger can be found in the 1900 census for Indiana, Washington county, Jefferson township, Dist 132, sheet 2B, living with his grandparents George and Minerva Bowers. He married Carrie B Gray on 30 Nov 1910 in Shelby county, source is book 20, page 323. He is in the 1930 census for Indiana, Shelby county, Brandywine township, Dist 7, sheet 12B. Walter was born 1887 or 88 at Indiana. His wife is Carrie and in 1920 they had 5 children (approx. BDs): Mary 1911 Byron 1914 Albert 1915 Edith 1917 Anna 1919 I have been told that he is son of Albert PERSINGER & Alice BOWERS of Washington & Jackson Counties, Indiana, but would like further corroboration. I have much to share on this Albert Persinger line as he was son of my ancestor, Alfred Richard Persinger 1825-1866, who was son of Luke Persinger 1783-1871.
