    3. Thanks for the items about the Nugent family. Linda Fuller and I have had correspondence about this family in the past. >http://www.shelbycountyindiana.org/obituaries/obit_nugent.htm I'm interested in the woman I think was Omer's first(?) wife, Harriet "Hattie" Surber. I don't recall what happened to her, but I'd like to know (if anyone knows) as well as more information about her Surber family. I'm "almost sure" her parents were Joseph R. and Harriett (Seward) SURBER who also lived in Shelby County, IN. I think Harriett and her siblings were my dad's second cousins, although I can't prove it yet. Can someone help me with these families? I do have an old letter written in the 1960's to one of my aunts by a person who had interviewed "Oliver" Surber who was the youngest of this Surber family. He was born in 1880. I'll be glad to share this information with anyone who is interested. Jeanne SURBER Searching SURBER, MILLER in Ohio, Indiana, and Iowa

    3. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas with ample hours to visit with loved ones. Here's to a healthy, prosperous New Year for all of us. I want to thank all those who have donated materials and labor to the website and all who have taken time to answer the questions that come up on the mail list. You guys really are the best. Can you imagine what the family history world would be like if every county (or civil locality) had a group like our group? I am honored to be the webservant here. Sincerely, Phyllis Fleming (aka P)

    3. In the hopes that you, Phyllis, and Melissa and all the people in Shelby County and others who contribute to this web site had a joyful Christmas and have a great New Year. I am here on the west coast and find this site invaluable. I also gave you a plug at the Ash family reunion this summer near Peru. With gratitude for all your hard work and the loads of information that you provide, MIchele vanPelt On Dec 29, 2008, at 5:34 AM, Phyllis Miller Fleming wrote: > I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas with ample hours to visit > with loved ones. > > Here's to a healthy, prosperous New Year for all of us. > > I want to thank all those who have donated materials and labor to > the website and all who have taken time to answer the questions that > come up on the mail list.
