Thanks - yes it complicated things there for a minute, but helps to straighten things out. I wondered why I did not have Amanda's maiden name. I had Jeptha Revelle "J. R." Harrod listed as Jeptha Garriott based on census records - so I fixed that. Since I did not have the parents' marriage data, it didn't bother me then. I did not have Emma B. anywhere, but I did have a Rosella Garriott born about 1850, who I now think was Rosalie I. Harrod, born 8 Aug. 1849, and a daughter of Dr. Jeptha Revelle Harrod and Amanda Jane (Hawkins) Harrod. Rosalie was married to Simon Garriott (just to complicate things a little more) on 29 April 1866 in Little York, Washington County, Indiana and had 14 children.
