After looking at my OLD files I believe there maybe a connection to Thomas James and my John James wife Polly Carrol . The Spencer and James families as you found were in Scott Co Ind at the same period. I have another person I have been working with Willa Mae for about 10 years trying to connect the James and Spencer families.
