    3. Have you checked with the Scott County Genealogical Society, Inc., PO Box 23, Scottsburg, IN  47170-0023, www.scgsi.com or scgsi@c3bb.com ?  Their research rooms are chocked full of data including many items from the county courthouse.  Hours are 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday and 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday.  Closed this week on the 31st and 1st.  Will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. unless weather prevents travel. Summers family comes into the Kimberlin family that were the first settlers in this area; so there is a long line of history collected there. Hope this info will help you. Thank you for any thoughts you may have.  My block wall is quite large.  :) Gail __________________________________ Please no spam, chain letters, virus notices, current religous or political discussions  on the list.
