I am not sure if Sarah is related to me. Do you know who the parents of Sarah Madden Beck are? I am trying to find out if Madden was the maiden name of Sarah or if her full name was Sarah Madden Beck. My gr-gr-gr grandparents were Madden Beck and Rebecca Hatley. In the 1840 Indiana Census they were living in Clark Co. Have you communicated with any of the Hooker family that are still living in the Tazewell Co. and Logan Co., Illinois area? Sarah was b. 1818 in Rowan Co., NC. At the time Rebecca Hatley was married to a man with the last name of Madden. If I could find out if Sarah was a daughter of Rebecca Hatley that would solve a lot of questions. Thank you for replying to my Query.
