L. Stark, Scott Co., IN, 22 Mar 1843. It is possible that Caroline was the daughter of Robert Sample and Jane McClain. She was born either the 7th of Feb or the 8th of Mar 1826 in Indiana. Robert Sample died in 1844 in Jackson Co., IN, but widow Jane Sample is listed on the 1850 and 1860 in Scott Co., with sons Alexander and William Sample. Any info is appreciated.
