Joseph P. L. Stark was in Co. A, 122 Ill. Vol. Inf. His wife made application for a widow's pension and one of his children applied for minor child benefits. Tremendous amount of info in those records. His son Abraham R. Stark was in the same company and survived the war, but died in 1877. His son Theodore D. Stark was in Co. E., 143 Ill. Vol. Son-in-law Reason Eli Friend appears to have been in that outfit also. I'm fairly sure that son-in-law ___ Bottoms was killed in service, if I just knew his first name.
