It was in the northwest 1/4 of the northwest quarter of section 33, township 4 north, range 7 east of Scott County, Indiana. It was just north of Friendship Baptist Church, 1/4 mile north of State Road 256 at an interesection known as Kendall Corner. Aramas Mitchell, a Revolutionary War Veteran is buried in the abandoned cemetery of that old church. Kendall Corner is three miles east of Austin, Indiana on Route 256.
