    1. [INSCOTT] Who is the keeper of the records for Scottsburg Cemetery?

It was in The Chronicle. It says: Robert Beaver, aged 50 years, died Sunday at the family residence in this place. The remains were interred at the Scottsburg cemetery Tuesday after services by Elder Milligan. He leaves a wife, a son, two brothers and a host of friends to mourn his death. Mr. Beaver moved to this place from Eaton last October. He was a member of the Christian church. This was published in The Chronicle on April 23, 1808. So I need to find out which cemetery they referred to as the "Scottsburg cemetery" and also which church is the one they called the "Christian church". I have information that leads me to believe that my husband's great grandmother, who died in 1939 in New Albany, was buried alongside Robert Beaver. They may also have a grandson buried there as well. I'm not finding them listed in any cemetery record books so I'm afraid they don't have headstones or other markers but I thought if I could find out who the keeper of the official records of that cemetery is, I might be able to find out a location and if they don't have markers, I can at least arrange for their graves to be properly marked. Any help would be most gratefully received. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
