Unfortunately, I cannot find out which cemetery they were buried in. I live in Harrison County, IN and am not familiar with Scottsburg at all. I went to the Floyd County Library (which is where they all lived) and they had listings from a bunch of cemeteries in Scott County. I looked through all of them page by page and couldn't find any of these folks anywhere. Does anyone have any idea where these folks might have been buried. In particular, I'm looking for Minerva Jane Wright (although she could be Dishman or Beaver) and she died in October of 1939. Her obituary says funeral was arranged by Dieckman's in New Albany and burial was "in Scottsburg". I even called Dieckman's and they looked up their records but they say that all it says is "in Scottsburg." Gah. I also can't figure out why they were buried in Scottsburg. None of them lived there EVER that I can find. They started out in Henry County Indiana and then moved down to Floyd County and then were in either Floyd or Harrison County after that. Why would they have been buried in Scottsburg? Any advice about where to look for these relatives would be most appreciated!
