Living beside him was a Harvey McDowell, who must have been his brother. I have found Josiah McDowell who went on to Davis Co. Iowa,but can't find anymore on Harvey and his family. Josiah is my grgrgrandfather. Searching for their parents and what happened to Harvey. They were both born in Kentucky per the census. Thanks for any help.
