I am a descendant of William & Mary Lewis through their daughter Amelia Ann Lewis who first married Samuel Austen. Their son Samuel Lewis Austen married Harriet Jane Truitt, daughter of James Henry and Mary Olivia (Dean) Truitt. His parents were Peter and Catherine (Williams) Truitt. Her parents were Ephriam and Bridget Belinda Dean. All these families lived in Ripley Co., IN.
