Lucy Hill married Arad Knapp in NY. They first came to Dearborn Co and then to Ripley Co. (Washington Twp.). One of their children was named Squire Hill Knapp. For years, I thought that it wasn't really his name but an identification. However, it was his birth name. I have found two Squire Hills in New York that were the right age to be Lucy's father, but both have had their children identified and none claim a "Lucy". Arad and Lucy have the oldest graves in the Blasdel/Walker/Smith cemetery in Stringtown. Does anyone know anything about Lucy's parents? Did she have siblings that came to the same area? I know the ancestors of Arad Knapp but I am completely stuck on Lucy. It has been 25 years, and I am still in the same place in my research on the Hill family. Thanks - Marilyn
