I am not related to the Platter's but my half brother is a grandson of Charles "Raymond" Platter. I know this is going to make me feel really old, but whose granddaughter are you? My mother was Lester Platter's second wife. I came to Iowa to live with my mother after she remarried so I knew all of the "aunts". I didn't know any of them very well, of course, since none of them lived in Polk Co. but there were lots of family reunions, etc. in the summer. I have a copy of Rev. Platter's family history back through the Swiss migration to Germany. Perhaps we could "share and compare". Pam
