The Jacob Caplinger that I am looking for was b. abt 1818 in Ky. On May 5, 1856 he married Tabitha Ellen Vanarsdale in Johnson Co., IN. He died 1-10-1891 in Johnson Co., IN. Tabitha was b. abt 1839 in IN and died 4-23-1897 in Johnson Co., IN. They were the parents of 3 sons, Andrew J. b. 1858 married 1884 to Arthula E. Parkhurst; John W. b. abt 1860 married 1887 to Mary E. Frosh; Samuel Edward b. 1862 married to (1) Lucretia League (2) Ollie Elmuttie Grose. This Samuel and Ollie were my great grandparents. I don''t know of any relatives that Jacob had (in Indiana or Ky). I am looking for his parents and siblings. Any ideas?
